A little bit About Us

We provide personalised outcomes based Case Management services throughout the whole of the UK. Our founder Stella Baxter survived a traumatic brain injury in 1976.

Our Case Managers are all individual members of British Association of Brain Injury Case Managers (BABICM).

Pre & post settlement Case Management

Review of current service provision and making recommendations for future provision, the organisation has a proven track record of supporting people with complex conditions.   

Our case managers can also arrange social care including Live In care through our sister company Athena Care . Since 2001 Athena Care has continually achieved the highest 3 star 'Excellent' rating with the Care Quality Commission providing quality services to adults and children.

Athena Case Management service is led by Michael Heap CSW/FRSA/MCMI former deputy director of Gloucestershire Social Services and founder member of the Joint Advisory Group on Domiciliary Care in his role as Chair of the National Council for Domiciliary Care Standards.

Our large team of specialist trained social care workers are based throughout the UK providing outcome based services to individuals who may experience complex neurological conditions, acquired brain injury and spinal injury including assistance with delegated level 3 health care tasks such as PEG feed, catheter care and bowel management.

The organisation is a member of Ceretas (Formally British Association of Domiciliary Care), Action on Elder Abuse, Headway, UKBIF (United Kingdom Acquired Brain Injury Forum), BABICM (British Association Of Brain Injury Case Managers), member of the National Homecare Council and a corporate member of the Expert Witness Institute .
